NDIS
Floatation Therapy offers a unique non-medicated approach to pain management, reducing inflammation, aiding in pre- and post-surgery recovery, enhancing muscle and injury recovery, and improving sleep—all of which are often linked with issues such asPTSD, Stress, Anxiety and Depression.
NDIS covers Float sessions if they align with the goals in your NDIS Plan. Clinical Floatation validates the positive outcomes of Floatation Therapy for NDIS clients, showcasing its benefits in managing both physical and mental health challenges, as well as aiding in rehabilitation post-injury.
Unlike many other therapies, Floatation Therapy uniquely provides deep relaxation, improving sleep quality and supporting self-healing without creating competition with different modalities. The calming environment allows individuals to experience reduced stress and enhanced relaxation, complementing allied health therapies like Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Hydrotherapy, Chiropractic care, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, and Massage Therapy.
NDIS participants who are self-managed can reach out to float centres directly and check they are registered NDIS providers (in 2025 all Float Centres will be required to be registered NDIS providers). Plan-managed participants should consult with their plan coordinator to discuss including float therapy in their NDIS plan.
